About
exposing the beauty that lies in the struggle of being human

Painter, Photographer, Storyteller
I’ve been painting since I could grasp a brush in my chubby toddler hands.
My grandmother, seeing my eagerness and “eye” for the arts, refined my straight-from-the-paint-tube depictions of trees and flowers into carefully mixed hues portraying still lifes of fruit on tables and flowers in vases. In 2020 I experienced a crippling mental health crisis that, after a decade-long hiatus, sent me back to the canvas to further explore layering, texture, and mixing different mediums to create works of art that conveyed the juxtaposition of hope amidst uncertainty, joy amidst suffering.
