My husband and I decide to take up running on occasion.
Usually when the weather in Houston is between 65 and 80 degrees, so... roughly 6 months out of the year. On one particular run as he was verbally processing his latest idea and I, admittedly not paying too close attention to what he was saying, kept staring at the sky. Enraptured by the cotton candy pinks, neon corals, and cornflower blues my eyes couldn't help but look up (tree roots, asphalt cracks, and other tripping hazards be damned!). That sky initially inspired this piece that then evolved into a study on noticing. May it invite you in to notice as well.
