when in the midst of healing from a mental health crisis, I decided to throw perfection to the wind and try my hand at abstraction. "Play" is one of the earliest iterations of this exploration. My daughters tell me it depicts a dolphin playing at sea; I wonder, what is it that you see? Ahhh... the wonder of art: me working out my story on the canvas and you, the viewer, working out yours in the interpretation. Let's keep playing.
